LA TRINIDAD, Benguet – Police seized shabu and marijuana valued at P38.8 million in the Cordillera region from September 9 to 15.
The Police Regional Office-Cordillera Regional Operations Division said they conducted 13 marijuana eradication and four buy-bust operations, three arrest warrant executions, and one police response that resulted in the arrest of nine suspected drug pushers, seven of who were high-value individuals and two were street-level individuals.
Recovered were 62.90 grams of shabu, 180,600 fully grown marijuana plants, 17,007.60 grams of dried marijuana leaves and fruits, and 6,000 marijuana seedlings.
The PRO-Cordillera said these achievements demonstrate their strong commitment to combating illegal drug activities and keeping the community safe.
Through constant surveillance and monitoring, the PRO-Cordillera said they ensure a safe environment where every resident feels safe and protected.
